What is Shaniko?

Shaniko wool comes from a cross breed of U.S. Merino and Rambouillet sheep. This untreated fiber is grown, sheared, scoured, and combed in the U.S. Each of the nine ranches are certified under the RWS (Responsible Wool Standard), located in California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, and Nevada.

Incredibly soft and so bouncy! Suitable for all levels of spinners. (20.4 micron)
